Cracking WPA/WPA2 without dictionary attack: Are you talking about WPS vulnerablity and attacking it with reaver? If yes then I am planning to do a tutorial on it soon, i have made required screenshots too. But, it wont come before a couple of weeks as my semester exams are going on.
If not, then there is this method called bruteforcing (Hope you have heard of it), but I think of it as a complete waste of time.
Try this online password calculator to check how long can it take to crack a password with bruteforcing. http://lastbit.com/pswcalc.asp
Hello Deathknight, The compliments are well deserved :) As a windows user, I could actually follow you! I did hear about GPU cracking and that it could crack a 20 character password (knowing that the password "only" containing numbers) in a reasonable time. Is it still a waste of time? (or how was waste of time meant?)
Sorry for the late reply!! I completely missed your comment....
Yeah, GPU cracking can do it faster. But what if the password is alphanumeric?? it would take really long time!! Waste of Time means you would keep on trying and trying for a long time without any success.. which will happen in most of the cases!! Again, please check that passcalc to estimate the time... I really think it is waste of time (bruteforcing)
Please can you publish tutorial about taking almost all bandwidth without disconnecting rest of the users from AP. YOU ARE THE KING.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
